My Mentor

Now, I'm energetic and really looking forward for a happy day. Plus, I'm the kind of people who loves to observe and enjoy my surrounding so I'm grateful because the Allah has given me a beautiful life. Indeed I also had hard times, I also had the time when I almost gave up my fight and feel like killing somebody. But then I always had the chance to gain control of my emotion and return my self esteem. This is because I had a lot of guidance, supports that I need to make a comeback to the reality that this world is always spinning, that a bad condition never always be bad and good condition never keep getting better, unless you do something about it and keep going. I'm the type of people who loves to copycat others, whenever I look and saw someone with good attitude, I tend to copy the way that person behave and improvise myself with that behavior then I manipulate it to cope with my personality, perhaps you can call that a mentor.

And because I love to copy the personality of other people, I tend to be easily affected by community around me, but when I had the nerve to do something different than most other people, I will just do it and ignore what people said, then I will just take the risk and ready for whatever the outcome is. And usually it turns out in a good way, so far. And usually copy the personality of my parent, both my Mom and Dad. Everything that they like, they dislike, the way they look like and even the way they talk, I will try to mimic and copy it. So that makes my parents as my greatest mentor so far. Because without them, I will be no greater than just a baby, knowing nothing that would benefit me nor endanger me. But I rather take the risk to learn, than to be safe and know nothing. That's my mom's advice.

Sometimes, the pain of losing is the fundamental of a victory, because whenever you lose, you know your mistakes, and keep learning from it and keep going up, even if it just a step, it's better than never losing and just stand still without pushing yourself up. That's what makes a human, a human. Because great people learn from their mistakes, they improvise their way, then adapting the way to their everyday life and lastly they can overcome their their weakness, to be a successful person. My dad's advice is that, everything in this world is equal, because this world is created by the Lord of Justice, Allah the Almighty. He care for His servants, so He test them, because He miss the plead of His servants. And if that person who He test is patient with His test, don't give up easily on the challenge that He gave, then he will reward that person with greater reward, if the blessing of the Almighty can be seen by human, then man will always want to be tested by the God and never touch the evil things, because when they know how great the love of the God to his servants human will achieve the true happiness. Who will not be happy when he knows that there always a place for them in the heaven, with a condition that they obey God's will and avoid what He forbid. Whenever you got something bad in your way, and your mind is blank, stressed out from the burden of worldly matters, than be patient and take a deep breath, do some prayers and zikrullah, because that's is a sign that the God miss you. When you realize the God's power to change everything, then you will witness miracle.

Quite a long advice isn't? But whenever I remember those words, it calms me down, made me realize that the day isn't always cloudy and there's always sunshine behind every clouds. Whenever I woke up, I'm grateful to God that I'm still had given the chance to  keep living my day, but I'm more grateful to God that He send me two guardian angels, my Mom and Dad, my greatest mentor.
